Try it on your own address
Two free tools, no approval and no account on this site. They run automatically through a public GitHub issue, so you need a GitHub account.
Analyse an address
We load the page once, like an ordinary visitor (no clicks, no consent), and reply with the number of third-party tracking services it contacted, the services seen and how confident the result is.
Limit: 2 per GitHub account every 24 hours; 30 per day for the whole site; the account must be at least 7 days old. Need more, or a project of your own? Contact the developer.
Create a short link
Short links: on demand only, for now. This tool is temporarily available by request. To get access, contact the developer and ask for your GitHub account to be added to the allowed accounts. asenjo.jose@hotmail.com
See your result here
After you send an analysis above, come back to this page, type the same address and press the button: the result appears below, ready to read or to download as JSON or CSV.
Pressing the button makes one or two requests to GitHub's public API from your browser, so GitHub sees your IP address. Nothing else on this site contacts a third party, apart from the two optional checks on the Browser check page, and nothing is stored.
How it works
1. Ask
Pressing the button opens a GitHub issue with the address already filled in. You review it and submit it. Nothing is sent from this page.
2. Automatic check
A workflow validates the address (public websites only), applies the limits, and then measures it or creates the link. Nobody approves it by hand.
3. Reply
The result is posted in the same issue, which is then closed, and you can read it on this page with the button above. A new short link goes live a few minutes later, once the site has been republished.
What to know
- Public. The issue, your GitHub account name and the address you enter are visible on GitHub. Do not enter anything private, and do not include personal data.
- One measurement. An analysis is taken from servers in the US at one moment, with no clicks. It is not added to the weekly ranking and the counts are not verdicts: see the limits.
- Refused addresses. Private or local addresses, addresses with credentials, other link shorteners and blocked domains are refused, and so are requests beyond the limits above or from blocked accounts.
- Removal. We can remove any short link at any time, for example if it leads to harmful or misleading content. If you see one, tell us.
